Abstract: Relevance. Intellectual property (IP) protection in Ukraine formally complies with international standards, yet law enforcement practice exposes institutional, regulatory, procedural, and technological weaknesses. These gaps limit effective protection in the context of globalization and digitalization, creating risks for rights holders, the public sector, and the international sanctions framework. Objective. The study examines challenges in the civil law protection of IP rights in Ukraine and proposes recommendations to strengthen enforcement through coordinated institutional, legal, and technological improvements. Methods. The research employs logical, systemic, and structural analysis to identify and group enforcement deficiencies and develop targeted solutions. Results. Key issues include the absence of specialized courts, contradictions in legislation, weak evidentiary mechanisms, insufficient civil penalties, jurisdictional conflicts, and widespread digital violations. At the same time, technological tools—such as algorithmic monitoring, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and alternative dispute resolution—can enhance efficiency and bring the system closer to international standards. Conclusions. omprehensive reform requires establishing specialized courts, harmonizing regulations, adopting electronic evidence and monitoring systems, strengthening penalties, and integrating global norms. An interdisciplinary, technology-driven approach promises higher enforcement efficiency, streamlined procedures, and stronger foundations for Ukraine’s IP protection system
