dc.description.abstractThe article is devoted to the review of the collections of recent seasons in the context of the actualization of romantic trends in modern fashion. The reception of romanticism is marked, the influence of historical costume is considered, and the controversy with other current styles is analyzed. The interrelationship of events in culture, politics, social life and the fashion industry is considered. The results of designing modern collections in a romantic style based on the example of outstanding contemporary designers are presented.en
