Висвітлення проблеми взаємодії влади і народу в українській літературі XVI-XVII ст.

Abstract

У статті досліджується проблема взаємодії влади і народу в українській літературі XVI – XVIІ ст. У роботі аналізуються суспільно-політичні концепції наших мислителів з метою виокремлення спільних та відмінних візій щодо майбутнього нашої держави. Стверджується, що влада повинна керуватися в своїх діях виключно законом. Авторка наполягає, що подібність поглядів на суспільно-політичний устрій держави наших мислителів з європейськими свідчить про високий рівень освіченості, широкий світогляд, а також вписування проблем, котрі хвилювали українське суспільство, у світовий контекст. Значна увага в роботі приділяється образу ідеального володаря. Наші мислителі XVI – XVIІ ст. наполягають на тому, що керівник держави – це моральна, освічена, мудра особистість. Ще одним ключовим образом, який присутній майже в усіх творах того періоду, є образ Києва як духовного Сіону, як центру відродженої держави.

The article focuses on the issue of interaction between the authorities and the people in the Ukrainian literature of the XVI –XVIІth centuries. The author asserts that this issue is especially acute at the time when people do not have their own state. Attempts to preserve one's own identity, religion, language, culture, to revive the statehood is what infused with hope and encouraged to defend the national interests of the Ukrainians in different spheres of life. It was the Ukrainian writers of the XVI –XVIІth centuries who through their works conveyed the views of the Ukrainian people to the representatives of the power of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth on topical problems with the aim of weakening both religious and political oppression and improving living conditions. Different views of Ukrainian writers of the XVI-XVIIth centuries on the issue of interaction of a person and authorities are compared and contrasted in the article. Social and political concepts of our thinkers are analyzed in order to highlight common and different points of views on the future of Ukrainian people. Therefore, the writers of the XVI-XVIIth centuries claim that the authorities should be guided exclusively by law in their actions, otherwise it will cause assertiveness and usurpation, that is, they advocate the rule of law. However, power implementation is offered through the various forms of government. The author insists that the similarity of views on the social and political system of our thinkers with the European ones indicates a high level of education, a broad outlook, as well as the integration of problems that worried Ukrainian society into the world context. No less attention is paid to the image of an ideal ruler, capable of building a strong and independent state, which was created by our writers of the XVI-XVIIth centuries. The author claims that this image is diversely presented by our writers. In particular, all thinkers insist that the head of state is a moral, educated and wise person. Another key image, which is present in almost all the works of that period, is the image of Kyiv as a spiritual Zion, as the center of a revived state.
